Located near the former Elgin Box Company plant, this small steel stringer bridge crosses an abandoned driveway.
Built in 1912, the bridge is composed of a single steel stringer span, set onto concrete substructures. In addition, the bridge has a ballasted deck.
This is a durable bridge that was built to last. It was likely constructed in conjunction with manufacturing in the area.
Overall, the bridge appears to be in fair to good condition, despite being abandoned and overgrown.
The author has ranked this bridge as being locally significant, due to the common design.
